Collection Procedure Assignment Logic Saved Searches

Assignment Logic Searches are a NetSuite saved search whose criteria governs whether a Customer record should have the Collection Procedure assigned to it.

Note: When allocating Collection Procedures to Customers each Collection Procedure is evaluated in turn per the Sequence field, in ascending order.

Once a Collection Procedure is allocated to a Customer it is excluded from subsequent Collection Procedure evaluation.

It is not necessary to add criteria conditions to the saved searches to remove Customers where the Collection Procedure is already allocated, the assignment logic adds this criteria automatically.

Creating Collection Procedure Assignment Saved Searches

Note: NetSuite Classic Center

Navigate: Lists > Relationships > Customers > Search

  1. Ensure Use Advanced Search is checked,

  2. Click the Create Saved Search button,

  3. In the Search Title field, enter an appropriate name that identifies the population of Customer records that will be returned: e.g. “VIP Customers”,

  4. Place a checkmark in the Public field,

  5. In the Criteria subtab, select fields to filter in the Standard sublist: e.g.

    1. Select Filter: “Category”,

    2. Select Category: “VIP Customer”,

  6. Click the Save button.
