Customer Onboarding Workflow

The Customer Onboarding Workflow manages the onboarding cycle between the requisite fields being populated on the Customer record and the Customer record Debtor Status field being set to Active.

There are two key criteria for the workflow:

  1. The workflow must not automatically attach to the Customer record,

  2. The final action of the workflow should be to set the Debtor Status to Active.

The workflow may perform any other necessary steps and actions in between.

Workflow specification

  1. Record Type - Customer

  2. Release Status - Released

  3. Initiation - Event Based

  4. Event Definitions:

    1. On Create - No

    2. On View Or Update - No

Warning: The workflow should not automatically attach the customer record, TaskCollect will attach the workflow once the customer record has met the onboarding requirements.

  1. Debtor Status field to be set to “Active”
